From the Desk of Rahan and Erwan, sailors extraordinaire:
“We are ready to go.
Provisionning is done … water and food are loaded . we carry 32 gallons of water + emergency + minimum requirements.
Our food will be based on vacuum bag food ready to be cooked. we have few extras like cans of duck confit [Ed. Note: Even on land we don't get to eat Duck Confit every day.] .
Weather looks really challenging … NO WIND … forecast is showing some high pressure growing on the way and the tactics is going to be challenging and very exciting. Huge gaps can be made in few hours … you can gain a lot on one option or lose even more on another one.
we are checking the wind files and routing since a week and we have a good idea of our strategy if forecast remains that way.
in live from Naos 30.
Cheers!
Rahan and Erwan
